 Mr. Cordero provides a physical training plan according to the athlete’s needs and demands. Mr. Cordero takes into account the sports specialty through training programs, especially for strength, speed, endurance, transfer jobs, plyometric exercises, coordination, and flexibility.

These are some of the common tasks for a highly skilled  sports and entertainments.

Tennis, Golf, Baseball, Football, Basketball, Rugby athletes, and racing motocross riders, among others, are some of the athletes Mr. Cordero has coached and prepared over the years.
 

Mr. Cordero, is as well prepared to work with athletes at a specific career stage who are closer to perform intensive and exclusive (Pre-Season) workouts with a view to a major short-term or long term goal.
 

 

Mr. Cordero has top-level technological tools and mainly works in:

• Training Arena and Parks
• Performs Slope and Mountain Training

 

During personal training Mr. Cordero  does much more than just being your  trainer: Mr. Cordero is a motivator, a partner and a facilitator to develop the physical exercises you need to perform where ever you are home, the gym, the beach, the mountains, anywhere is valid.

 

 

SPORTS MASSAGE


Sports Massage can enhance athletic performance, relieve muscle pain and stiffness, speed up recovery after training or competition, or it can be used in conjunction with a physical therapy treatment plan.



Classic massage (SWEDISH MASSAGE)

It relaxes tense muscles, detaches blocks, gives energy, good cheer, and also by stimulating skin improvement circle. In the end, there is a massage for the head, neck and feet for a perfect relaxation effect.

The rehabilitation of sports injuries, or rather, its prevention requires knowledge of the sport and its biomechanical characteristics, the effect of causing sporting gestures in different tissues, and that the rehabilitation process should also be specific in this regard .
For example, not given discharge an athlete who has suffered an injury without first rehabilitation is in major risk of being hurt again. Rehabilitation is essential in all the specific demands of the sport in a safe and well known fashion. The return to competition needs to be held cautiously in the best conditions in order to reduce the risk of "re-injury", and at the same time maintaining and improving the sports form.

Mr. Cordero in Cuba worked in Sports Rehabilitation with numerous elite athletes at the professional level. For a period of five years  he was the physical therapist of the Cienfuegos baseball team, creating and applying different methods of rehabilitation of typical baseball lesions, such as: Shoulder and Elbow injuries  of pitchers. Some of the known athletes were:
Norberto Gonzalez, Adiel Palma and Yosvani Perez (Olympic and World Champions) among others.

 

 

 

CHILE

Between the years 2001 - 2010
Recovered athletes from multiple fractures and muscle injuries, some of them were Multi National and Latin American champions in MotoCross: Luciano, Pablo and Leonardo Quintanilla. (Team KTM) and Osvaldo and Franco Giannini (Team Yamaha)
• He applied Recovery and Massage Treatment in hyperbaric chamber to Fernando Gonzalez Tennis  Professional athlete (Ex # 7 ATP, Olympic Champion) and Paul Capdeville in ATP Vina 2006.
• Rehabilitated FreeStaly World Champion Motocross, Javier Villegas. (Multiple fractures)
• Along with, professional soccer players and Felipe Rubilar Jaime Valderrama.
• Selected National Rugby: Andy Palacio (muscle injury) and Santiago Zolezzi.

Participated as a therapist at UTA in different tournaments which are:

SPORT EVALUATION

MASSAGE SPORT

It consists of a battery of tests which assesses the fitness of an athlete.
The data were statistically analyzed by the professional in charge, in this way athletes have evaluated the possibility of a more scientific and individualized planning.



Morphological Assessments
Through Anthropometry can estimate body composition related two components as fat and muscle mass in health and physical activity, and analyze comparative proportionally body variables:
• Size
• Body weight (Tanita Digital Weight)
• skinfolds, muscular perimeters
• Sizes bone,% fat and% muscle mass and somatotype



The exercise stress test​

Procedure to evaluate the maximum oxygen consump

​Oxygen consumption measures the ability of the cardiovascular, respiratory and metabolic processes are aerobic or anaerobic transport oxygen. By this test we measure directly using a gas analyzer directly or indirectly, using different formulas. Accurate way to determine this value, this is directly related to athletic success. Example: 65 ml / Kg. / Min. VO2 max.



JUMP TEST

It is one of the most important aspects of sport performance with strength and power characteristics.
